At JP Cooper & Son, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our team, families and the community.
JP Cooper & Son will continue to work with families, church groups, celebrants and the local community to ensure funeral services can be conducted safely and with the least amount of impact whilst adhering to the most updated health advise from the Australian Government Department of Health and NSW Government. The Australian Funeral Directors Association also provide ongoing support and guidance.
We encourage everyone to maintain appropriate social distancing measures at all times whilst at services. We understand that these measures are difficult during times of grief, where a hug, kiss on the cheek or simply a touch on the shoulder is the most natural way to show care and support. However, we ask that personal contact be kept to a minimum during services to minimise the risk of exposure for everyone in attendance.
At each service, alcohol based hand sanitiser is available for your convenience and we request that all attendees follow the steps below;- Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze
- Refrain from sitting closely to other people in the congregation
- Refrain from physical contact when greeting people (handshakes, hugging etc)
- Please do not attend services if you are or have been, feeling unwell or have recently returned from overseas.
If family members and friends are unable to attend we do offer Live Streaming of the service. Speak to one of our staff about how we can assist.
